Things on my mind

Haven't posted in a while, so I thought I'd share what's on my mind today:

1. Pepsi Throwback - it's good, but makes you realize how much sugar you're really drinking with it's distinct pure sugar aftertaste. I like it though.

2. I need a vacation, stat! I'm really looking forward to my upcoming trip to New Jersey to be in Julie and Paul's wedding, and maybe a trip to Chicago again this fall.

3. I love getting myself too involved - either at work, or with activities on my own time. I enjoy everything I do, but sometimes I wish I could hold myself back more. I guess maybe I wouldn't have as much fun.

4. Swine Flu - everyone needs to get the f over it. The regular flu kills way more people. So does pneumonia. And if we're talking about pandemics, don't forget about AIDS. Nobody seems worried about that anymore. But if you're looking for a good laugh, follow @the_swine_flu on Twitter.

5. I want to see a tornado. I don't want to be sucked up in a tornado, or killed by one, and I don't really want it to touch down. I just want to see a funnel cloud in the sky before I die. Is that too much to ask?

What's on YOUR mind today?

1. Bill got the Pepsi Throwback. He says it's as good as regular Pepsi but different.

2. We are going on a long weekend to the Hocking Hills next weekend and I can't freaking wait. I have not taken a vacation day since November; just one sick day in Feb.

3. I need to get MORE involved in things.

4. I feel like the swine flu was the only thing anyone was talking about last week, and somehow everyone is already over it. Thank goodness.

5. OMG A TORNADO KILLED MY MOM. U R SICK.

I also have some original things on my mind, but maybe I should do my own blog post. It's been a while for me too.

I've got weddings on the brain...I picked up Weddings For Dummies so i could get a sense of what all is involved and it blew my mind.

Tornadoes are awesome...as long as they stay away from my house. I'd love to chase tornadoes and storms.

I saw a tornado at my grandma's house when I was little. We saw it coming towards us and then it went up into the sky. Later we found out it came back down a few miles down past our house and threw some guy's trailer into a bean field. The tornado jumped over my grandma's house. Boy was I scared!

Chicago rules, BTW. Me and Jen need to go back too. So much fun. If you've never been to Seatle, it's a great city visit too.

We still need to plan our vacation, we're thinking about going somewhere we can get to by driving. We've found we don't do well on planes.

I get into the stuff I do pretty hardcore too, but it doesn't last. I'll be hot on it for that weekend or whatever, but then I don't follow up and everything ends up being half-done (or not done at all). I need to work on that.

I freakin' love Chicago. What a great city. Haven't been in like 5 years though - so another visit is needed.

Tornados flip me the f out! Weather is scary, man.

If you drive to Chicago, you'll probably go right by the town where I live. If you let me know when, we could maybe meet up! :)

I've got cleaning on my mind. I saw a mouse in the garage so now I am convinced that if I scrub my house from top to bottom it will go away. I've also go writing on my mind and I'm thinking a lot about what I want to accomplish this summer.
